The Bremen University of Applied Sciences pursues the concept of dual qualification as an airline pilot and engineer in the aviation industry with the ILST (B.Eng. Aviation Systems Engineering and Management) and MEAM (M.Eng. Aeronautical Management) courses. On the one hand, this is intended to compensate for the loss of the flight engineer in the cockpit. On the other hand, this promotes project, engineering and management activities of pilots. We strive to consistently pursue this idea as a company in order to close the interfaces between flight operations, companies in the aviation industry and those who want to learn from aviation. During the summer of 2015, there were several requests for qualified and dependable personnel who could be flexibly deployed in projects within a defined framework. So, on 11.09.2015 the idea of "ILST Consulting", which had been existing for quite some time, was realized by founding the ACEP GmbH.
